version 1.
this layout was simple, exactly what i wanted. this particular layout i created to debut what i wanted rock & redbeard to represent. quality, trend, style, efficient, bold, colorful, bright, and many other adjectives there's not enough room to list.
i spent two days just trying to come up with a header to build a layout off of. it wasn't until i was discussing the possibilities with a friend, sam from mascara, that i was inspired by colors, with ultimately led to everything else. so thanks sam, for being my inspiration for this layout. rock & redbeard's internet world debut.
this layout took longer than i hoped to get up and running. well, actually the site took longer than i anticipated to get going. unfortunately i got the bright idea to start a second site during a 40 hour work week. i'm insane, i know. so since i bought the domain on tuesday night after work, then upgraded my hosting to accompany multiple sites, then i took days to get a layout up, then i had to fix it to work in ie, then i had to spend some more days getting up content, cute boy drama, reuniting with old friends, making new ones, family time, the fourth of july, all during a 40 hour work week. i got no sleep that week. none. i'm still tired just thinking of it. yawn.
that's just who i am though, spontaneous, determined, and dedicated. this site is proof.
version 2.
quite technically, this was version 3, but i'm not too sure i saved the version 2 snapshots on my desktop or not, i'll check sometime, and if they are there, i'll fix this page, if not this divulgence will be here forever. lol. what can i say about this layout other than "mmmmmm." i mean robert pattinson is the yummiest man ever. this layout was my eye candy, lovely, lovely eye candy! (:
this layout was not as long lived as version 1 or 2, but the only real reason i changed this one was because i had changed me server to run on php 5, and almost all of the coding needed to be replaced, so i figured as long as i already had to go in and change every single page, i might as well change the layout as well!
