rock & redbeard started on a tuesday night. i got off work early to find myself messing around on myspace. i was on my site pastelsmash.com's myspace when i saw my nieces second horrible attempt at a layout site's myspace on my top friends list. suddenly it was plauguing me. so i called her up, and got straight to the point. "jenna, are you going to quit or keep with zipzap?" i asked her. she replied in a cautious voice, "well, i think i'm going to quit." as she waited for my inevitable reply, well i think i'm going to steal your site's myspace. she told me it was cool and so i set off on a mission. i was going to create a new site.
a second site. i was not, i repeat not, going to give up pastel smash. just set off on a challenging adventure, running two sites all by my lonesome. i'm sure it will always be that way, me facing the internet relm alone, but i like it best that way.
this site has started completely backwards of pastel smash. with pastel smash i built up my friend count and then slowly entered the internet world with a subdomain, then a domain. this time i skipped all of that and went straight to the domain. that's how i roll. (:
now i'm having trouble locating a site that has more than a couple hundred friends. hint, hint i'm still in need of a decent sized myspace account! so if you know of one up for grabs i'm your contender!
